#i still can’t get over how touchy~ peter was #and thinking about it…he’s always like that when something has happened to neal #or when he thinks something has happened #his first instinct is always ALWAYS to protect neal first #neal’s safety is his first concern. he cares about neal. he loves him. #and i don’t think anyone can deny that. #because like i said last week. his methods and resources aren’t always the right ones. #but his intentions are always good. everything he does is to protect neal. #whether it’s trying to prevent him from ending up in jail again. #or just trying to protect him from even more heartbreak and despair and loss. #sometimes i think he forgets that by doing some things he’s hurting neal. and i think that if he really understood how much neal wants hi… #his trust and needs his approval he would do some things differently. #i think in the end neal just wants to be loved. unconditionally. #he wants someone who will be there for him no matter what. someone he can turn to for advice. someone he can turn to for #anything and everything. he just wants to belong. he wants a family. #so i’m curious to see if and how (some aspects of) their relationship will change now that james has showed up
